I am sharing my experience of dealing with JW Wood Estate Agents, Chester le Street as a recent vendor. I cannot fault the service I have been given from the initial contact and valuation of my property to the speedy reaction once it officially went on to the market. From the start, each member of the team I came into contact with were approachable and friendly, gave me excellent advice and comprehensive information relating to the property market in general in the area where I live. Staff have also provided step by step assistance through the process. This has all gone to prove that I made the right decision in putting the marketing and selling of my property in to their very capable hands. Cannot praise this team enough - from start to finish they were marvellous: kind, polite, engaged, patient, on-the-ball and obviously kept one another informed. No matter who you spoke with at the Chester-le-Street branch, they knew our current circumstances. Their advise was also invaluable in preparing the house, showing it to prospective buyers and with the sale. Would like to make specific reference to the after-sales team. When signing up to JW Wood I hadn't understood the value of this service - I do now! When solicitors weren't communicating, Jenny kept both sides of the sale informed and because she was able to speak with all the solicitors, as well as the buyer/ seller, she could gauge whether there was anything to worry about. Her experience also meant she could tell us what was 'normal' - when you sell your home after a couple of decades, that's helpful. She called reguarly to keep us updated. She was my go to person with any queries because I knew I'd get a speedy, polite and well informed response. This service was worth every penny.

Good service throughout the process.. Friendly, understanding and professional. Our move was delayed several times due to problems further down the chain but Gill Anderson was particularly good at maintaining contact and keeping us up to date. As in many things it is the personal touch that is so important.

Brilliant throughout the whole process of selling our house and buying a new property. The agents were professional, knowledgeable and also had a personal touch. Chloe was very responsive and looked after us in terms of viewings and offers then once offers had been accepted Gill kept us in the loop with everything that was happening in the chain.
